“PsyCare UK are one of those services that should be at every event. They provide an amazing service which helps us to take care of our attendees at the highest level. Their staff are wonderful and highly trained to provide best practice care to anyone who needs it. They work seamlessly with the medical team to provide the ultimate care package. I would recommend them to any event who is serious about looking after their attendees.”

“I run a CQC registered medical and ambulance company that specialises in providing medical cover to events, especially festivals.
Since we started in 2010 there has been slow progress in the recognition and appreciation of dedicated Welfare & Emotional Support teams at festivals, but the tide is starting to turn on this.
We personally have worked with numerous Welfare teams at festivals across the UK and Europe, and without doubt, PsyCare UK is the most organised, professional, and dedicated team we’ve had the pleasure to work with.
Often when a person is suffering from mental health, emotional or behavioural concerns, a highly clinical brightly lit area such as a medical facility may not necessarily be the best environment to offer support. PsyCare UK’s facilities provide a well balanced, patient need centred facility with a high ratio of team members to service users. Thus enabling the best care possible.
The team is made up of the most amazing band of individuals coming together to provide the most friendly, supportive, and professional resource on any festival site.
When both medical and welfare work together in a perfectly balanced way, it can substantially reduce the need for ‘Medical’ intervention, thus reducing casualty numbers that the event records. As an example of this, at one of our larger events we work with PsyCare UK, if they were not on site, our medical team would need to be approximately 50% larger.
PsyCare UK also understands the intricacies of the shared responsibility of working hand in hand with a medical team. We have in the past, had welfare teams that think all issues can be solved with a hug and a cup of tea, whereas PsyCare UK fully understands the difference between a person suffering an emotional episode and a medical emergency, whereby they have no hesitation in alerting the medical team to conduct a joint assessment and treatment plan.
As a strong advocate for multidisciplinary public health at events and festivals, I cannot recommend PsyCare UK enough, to any festival or event organiser seeking these services.”
